1. What are the benefits and privileges of having the membership card?

2. What is an Individual membership?

An Individual member has his/her own personalized membership card which entitles the cardholder to enjoy the benefits and privileges of Faber Peak Singapore Membership Programme.

3. What is a Family membership?

A Family membership entitles a family of up to four (04) immediate family members to enjoy the benefits and privileges of the Membership Programme. Each family member will have his/her own personalized membership card.

4. Who are considered as immediate family members in the Family membership?

Immediate family members consist of the father and/or the mother, children and grandparents. Domestic helpers can be included into the Family membership as long as the application contains not more than 4 persons in total.

5. I have a child under the age of 4 years. Can I include her in the family membership?

Children under 4 years old are entitled to free rides on the Singapore Cable Car. Hence, children under 4 years old do not need a membership card. You may include your child when he/she has turned 4 years old.

6. How can I apply for the membership?

Sign up online here and follow the instructions to apply for your very own Faber Licence membership. Please submit a clear and sharp individual photograph otherwise; your application might be delayed. Do allow 2-3 weeks for us to process your application and we will contact you once your card(s) is ready for collection at Singapore Cable Car Ticketing Counter, HarbourFront Tower 2.


Alternatively, head down to the Singapore Cable Car Ticketing counters located at HarbourFront Tower 2, Mount Faber Station (Faber Peak) or Merlion Station (Sentosa) to purchase. Then head over to our membership counters at Mount Faber or Merlion Station with your NRIC to have your card(s) processed. Your photo(s) will be taken and membership card will be issued for you to enjoy the benefits and privileges on the same day.


You may also choose to mail in your application form. A secured payment link will be sent to your email address within 3 working days upon receiving your application. Please key in your Visa or MasterCard credit or debit card details to complete the payment. Your application will only be processed upon successful payment. Please allow 2-3 weeks for us to process your application and we will contact you once your card is ready for your collection at Singapore Cable Car Ticketing Counter, HarbourFront Tower 2.

7. Is the membership card applicable to foreign guests?

All guests with local residential address are able to apply for a Faber Licence membership. You may sign-up via the following platforms:

  1. Online (www.faberpeaksingapore.com/member-signup) or
  2. Visit our ticketing counters (Harbour Front Tower 2, Mount Faber or Merlion Station) or
  3. Mail/email (faberlicence@onefabergroup.com.sg) us your completed application form*

Do allow a maximum of 3-4 weeks for us to process your application and contact you once it is ready for your collection at Singapore Cable Car Ticketing Counter, HarbourFront Tower 2.

8. Can I fax my membership application form to Mount Faber Leisure Group?

We do not accept fax in application as information written is often unclear.

9. What is the difference between a walk-in and mail-in application?

Walk-in applications will be able to collect their membership card(s) and start to enjoy the benefits and privileges on the same day. Mail-in applications will require 3-4 weeks to process.

10. What are the different modes of payment?

For online application, payment can be made by credit and debit cards only.

For walk-in applications, payment can be made by cash, NETS or credit card over at Singapore Cable Car ticketing counters.

For mail-in applications, payment can be made by credit card only.

11. I have submitted my application form, how long does it take for my membership card to be processed?

If you have applied online with clear and sharp photograph(s), the card(s) will be ready for your collection at Singapore Cable Car Ticketing Counter (HarbourFront Tower 2) within 2-3 weeks.

If you have submitted the application form complete with your photograph(s) taken and made payment at the Singapore Cable Car Ticketing Counters, your application will be processed on the spot and you may start to enjoy the membership benefits and privileges on the same day.

If you have mailed in your application form, complete with passport sized photograph(s), kindly make payment via our secured link sent to your email. Upon successful payment, do allow 3-4 weeks to process your application. Once your card(s) is ready, we will contact you and you may collect your card(s) at Singapore Cable Car Ticketing Counter (HarbourFront Tower 2).

12. I have read and understood that the card processing takes about 2-3 weeks, however, I would need the membership card(s) urgently as I am visiting soon, what can I do?

You may sign up for the membership card(s) at any Singapore Cable Car Ticketing Counters.

Then head over to our membership counters at Mount Faber Station or Merlion Station with your NRIC to have your card(s) processed. Your photo(s) will be taken and membership card will be issued for you to enjoy the benefits and privileges on the same day.

13. I want to take the Cable Car soon, but I just mailed in my application not long ago, will I still be able to enjoy the membership card benefits?

No, the physical membership card is required and is the only form of identity for the membership card Programme. Hence, without the card, members will not be able to enjoy the benefits and privileges, including free entry to Sentosa.

14. How will I know if Mount Faber Leisure Group has received my mail-in application?

Your application should reach Mount Faber Leisure Group within 3-5 working days. After which, you should receive a secured payment link sent to your email address. Upon successful payment, kindly allow 3-4 weeks for your application to be processed, we will contact you when your card(s) is ready for your collection at Singapore Cable Car Ticketing Counter (HarbourFront Tower 2).

Alternatively, if you would like to check on your card status, you may send an email to faberlicence@onefabergroup.com.

15. What are the operating hours for walk-in applications?

Singapore Cable Car Ticketing Counters are open from 8.45am – 9.15pm daily including Eves and on Public Holidays however, last membership sign-up is at 8.00pm.

16. What must I bring when I walk in to apply?

If you are applying for Individual Membership, simply bring along your NRIC. You will have your photo taken at our Membership counters.

If you are applying for a Family Membership, we recommend ALL family members to be present in order to have their photos taken. Otherwise, please prepare each of their photographs for us to process. We would also require their NRIC/Passport number, Name and Date of Birth for all family members.

*If there is any missing information or situation whereby the application needs to be processed via backend, members will need to come back another day to collect their membership card(s) from our ticketing counters when it is ready.

17. Is submission of a photograph a must?

Yes, as all cardmembers will be issued personalized membership cards.

18. I do not have a photograph; what can I do?

When you apply for your membership online, please take note of the following.

  1. Photograph should be recently taken, showing a clear frontal shot of the face.
  2. Photograph should be in JPG format, estimated size of 35mm by 45mm (passport size) – refer to sample below
 

When you apply over the Singapore Cable Car Ticketing Counters at HarbourFront Tower 2, Faber Peak Singapore at Mount Faber or Merlion Station in Sentosa (Merlion Plaza), we will take a photo of you and your family members with our webcam. Photo-taking only takes a few minutes and it is free. 

If your application submission is without photograph(s), you may email your photograph(s) at a later date* to faberlicence@onefabergroup.com, with the subject as "Membership Card Application" and the contents of the email indicating the following:

  1. Main Applicant's full name
  2. NRIC
  3. Mobile Number
  4. Membership ID (starting with 'I' or 'F')  

Please note the following guidelines for photo submission by email:

  • For Individual Membership, please name the file name as <applicant's name> so it will look like "JohnTan.jpg".
  • For Family Membership, please send all photos in an email and name the files accordingly <applicant's name> so it will look like "JohnTan.jpg" and followed by "AudreyTan.jpg".
  • Please allow up to 4 weeks for the cards to be processed.

*Do take note that photographs must be submitted within 7 working days from date of application.  Please also note that all fields in the application form are mandatory and must be fully completed. Incomplete information and/or supporting documents will lead to delay in the processing of the application. 

19. I have submitted my application form by mail but without the photographs of my family members. Are there other alternatives for me besides re-submitting the physical copy of my application form?

You can email your photograph(s) to us at faberlicence@onefabergroup.com with the subject as "Mailed-in Application", with the contents of the email indicating the following:

  1. Main Applicant's full name
  2. NRIC
  3. Mobile number

Please note the following guidelines for photo submission by email:

  • For Individual Membership, please name the file name as <applicant's name> so it will look like "JohnTan.jpg".
  • For Family Membership, please send all photos in an email and name the files accordingly <applicant's name> so it will look like "JohnTan.jpg" and followed by "AudreyTan.jpg".
  • Please allow up to 4 weeks for the cards to be processed.

*Do take note that photographs must be submitted within 7 working days from date of application.

20. I do not have any passport-sized photograph, is it possible that I use other photographs?

We greatly encourage passport-sized photographs to be used. Nevertheless, you may also submit normal photographs that are clear and sharp enough for printing.

Alternatively, you may drop by Singapore Cable Car Membership Counters located at Mount Faber Station and Merlion Station to have your photograph taken. (Please refer to Question 18 for more information)

21. If I want to include my domestic helper in the family membership, do I need to submit the photograph too? What if I change my domestic helper?

Yes, domestic helpers are required to submit their photographs and particulars (Name, FIN/Passport Number and Date of Birth).

If you have changed your domestic helper, the membership card has to be replaced. There will be an administration fee of S$20.00 for each membership card. (Please refer to Question 22 for more information).

Note that a one-to-one exchange of the membership card is compulsory for change of domestic helpers. This can be done over at our membership counters (Mount Faber Station and Merlion Station).

22. During my term of my family membership, I want to include another member, can it be done? Any fees involved?

Yes, you can email to faberlicence@onefabergroup.com. Note that inclusion of additional family member can only be done if there are less than 4 people in a family membership. No charges require for inclusion. However, the validity date will follow the main applicant’s, no extension will be given.

23. Can I buy membership card as a gift for my friend?

Yes, you can do so if you are able to provide us with the necessary information (Name, NRIC, Mailing address, Contact details and Date of Birth) along with a recent clear and sharp photograph of your friend.

Otherwise, we would recommend you to purchase a Gift Card whereby your friend can redeem the membership within 3 months from date of purchase. This can only be done via email or at our membership counters located at Mount Faber Station and Merlion Station.

Card Collection

24. How do I know when my membership card(s) is ready and how do I collect it?

We will send you a confirmation email for collection stating the date and location where you may collect your card(s).

Please show the confirmation email to our staff when you are collecting your membership card(s) from the stated location. This applies to all forms of application submission.

25. Can I keep my expired membership card(s)?

No. Please return your expired membership card(s) when you renew your membership with us.

26. I did not receive my membership card(s) for more than one (01) month since I sent/submitted my application, what should I do?

If you have submitted a completed form together with your photograph(s) and have yet to receive your membership card(s) within one (01) month, kindly contact our guest relations hotline, 6377 9688, or drop us an email at faberlicence@onefabergroup.com.

27. Why was there a delay in the printing of my membership card?

The membership card process may be delayed due to incomplete information or lack of photograph hence, it is advisable to make sure that you have submitted all the required information during application along with acceptable photograph(s) when signing up for the membership.


During Renewal

28. My membership is going to expire. Am I allowed to renew my membership before it expires?

Yes, you are allowed to renew your membership before it expired. Please note that the new expiry date of the renewed membership is one (01) year from the expiry date of your current membership.

29. I hold a Family membership but I would like to renew the membership on my own. Is this allowed?

No. For holders of a family membership, renewal applies to all the card holders under the same family unit. However, you may opt to apply for an Individual membership instead and it will be consider as a new sign-up instead of renewal.

30. Do I need to re-submit my photograph again during renewal?

No, you are not required to re-submit your photograph if you wish to have the same photo printed on your new Membership card. All photographs are kept in our secured database with limited access.

However, if you wish to change your photograph, please attach your new photograph on the renewal form and this new photograph will be printed on your new Membership card.

31. How do I renew my membership card?

You may renew your membership online at https://www.faberpeaksingapore.com/member-signup/. All renewals must be done within 3 months after expiry. After which, it will be treated as a new application and guest will not be able to enjoy the renewal rate. Existing membership ID must be provided in order to renew.


Replacement of Card

32. When is replacement of cards applicable?

Replacement of cards is applicable (but not limited to) under the following scenarios:

  • Members would like to make changes to card – e.g. to include Christian name, change photograph, change family member/s (provided that membership is still valid, please refer to Question 21 & 22 for more information) etc.
  • Information on card is incorrect because member had submitted wrong information
  • Stolen/Loss of card
  • Card is de-faced due to member's negligence

A replacement fee of S$20 is applicable for each membership card (GST inclusive)

33. How do I replace my card?

Head down to Singapore Cable Car Ticketing Counters to make payment for replacement and have your card(s) processed at Mount Faber Station or Merlion Station.

Alternatively, you may choose to email (faberlicence@onefabergroup.com) or mail in your application form using the business reply and wait for us to sent you a secured payment link for payment. Please allow 3-4 weeks for us to process your replacement.

Daily Usage

34. I forgot to bring my membership card on my visit to Singapore Cable Car/Sentosa, can I board the Singapore Cable Car or enter Sentosa via Sentosa Express or Sentosa Boardwalk for free?

Sorry, you will not be able to enjoy the unlimited Cable Car rides or unlimited entry to Sentosa and all privileges without your membership card present.

35. I am currently holding onto an Individual membership. Would I be allowed to convert it into a Family membership (or vice versa)?

Guest may convert their Individual membership into a Family membership. However, vice versa is not applicable (Family membership cannot be converted into Individual membership until the membership expired and it will be consider as a new sign-up instead of renewal).

Note that the membership validity date will remain the same and no extension will be given for conversion of an Individual membership to a Family membership.

36. How can I update my particulars?

Members can update their particulars by:

  1. Calling our guest relations hotline, 6377 9688.
  2. Email to faberlicence@onefabergroup.com

Please include your Name, Membership ID number and Mobile Number.

37. How many vehicles can I register and how can I update my IU if I change my vehicle during my membership term?

Only 1 vehicle for any type of membership, be it individual or family (Eg. Family membership can only register 1 car). No motorcycles, delivery van or lorries are allowed.

To update your vehicle details, members can send an email to faberlicence@onefabergroup.com with their following information:

  • Name
  • Membership ID
  • Car plate number
  • 10 digit IU number

Alternatively, you may also call our hotline (+65) 6377 9688 with the same required information above.

*A non-refundable fee of $10.70 is payable for change of IU registration unless the change is made during renewal. Please note that we only accept vehicle IU number starting with 108, 102 and 112.


Islander to Faber Licence

38. Are we allowed to sign-up for both Islander and Faber Licence membership at the same time?

No. When you sign up for a Faber Licence, this membership will supersede your existing Islander membership. You will only have to carry one Faber Licence card since it includes all the benefits and privileges of an Islander membership.

39. I just sign-up for Islander membership last week but I wish to convert to Faber Licence membership. Do I get a refund?

No. However, you may choose to convert your Islander membership into a Faber Licence membership with a top-up to the difference in price. Please note the following for conversion:

  1. Validity will follow existing Islander expiry date.
  2. Guest must show their current Islander membership card in order to enjoy the top-up options.
  3. Islander membership card will be collected back before we issue you your new Faber Licence membership on the spot.

40. How much do I need to pay for the conversion?

Member will only need to pay for the difference in price and at the same time surrender their existing Islander membership. The difference in price is as follows, Individual membership is $14 and Family membership is $85.

*Do note that expiry date for top-up options will follow existing Islander membership.

41. Can I still enjoy the top-up options without my existing Islander card?

No. If member is unable to show their valid Islander card, top-up options will not be available. However, guest may pay full price to join as a Faber Licence member.

42. I have an Islander individual membership; can I convert to Faber Licence Family membership by topping up the difference?

No. Currently, we only allow Islander individual to convert to Faber Licence individual and Islander family to Faber Licence family.

43. I have Islander family membership of 5 persons and I wish to convert to Faber Licence family membership however, Faber Licence family only allow up to 4 persons. How do I convert using the top-up option?

Member will need to sign-up for Faber Licence family member and an additional individual membership for the 5th member. But worry not, converting members will only need to pay for top-up rates of $84 in total if member do not want to enjoy full year Faber Licence membership.

Top-up rates:

Family membership = $85
Individual membership = $14
Total for Family + Individual membership = $99

44. I am an existing Islander member but my membership will expire in a week and I wish to sign-up for Faber Licence instead, do I get a discount?

Existing or expired Islander member will be able to sign-up for Faber Licence at our renewal rates (Individual $35, Family $110) as long as it is within the grace period of 3 months before and after the expiry date of their Islander membership.

For example: Islander membership expiring on 1 June 2016. Guest may enjoy Faber Licence renewal rates starting from 1st March 2016 till 1st September 2016.
