During / Before Application

1. What is an Individual membership?

An Individual member has his/her own personalized membership card which entitles the cardholder to enjoy the benefits and privileges of the Faber Licence Membership Programme.

2. What is a Family membership?

A Family membership entitles a family of up to four (04) immediate family members to enjoy the benefits and privileges of the Faber Licence Membership Programme. Each family member will have his/her own personalized membership card.

3. Who are considered as immediate family members in the Family membership?

Immediate family members consist of the father and/or the mother, children and grandparents. Domestic helpers can be included into the Family membership as long as the application contains not more than 4 persons in total.

4. I have a child under the age of 4 years. Can I include him/her in the family membership?

Children under 4 years old are entitled to free rides on the Singapore Cable Car. Hence, children under 4 years old do not need a membership card. You may include your child when he/she has turned 4 years old.

5. How can I apply for the membership?

  • Option 1: Sign up online here. Please submit a clear and sharp individual photograph otherwise; your application might be delayed. Do allow 2-3 weeks for us to process your application and we will contact you once your card(s) is ready for collection at Singapore Cable Car Ticketing Counter, HarbourFront Tower 2.

 

  • Option 2: Head down to any Singapore Cable Car Ticketing counters to purchase a membership. Then head over to our membership counters at Mount Faber Cable Car Station or Merlion Cable Car Station Station to have your card(s) printed. Your photo(s) will be taken and membership card will be issued for you to enjoy the benefits and privileges on the same day.

 

  • Option 3: You may also choose to mail in a completed application form*. A secured payment link will be sent to your email within 3 working days upon receiving your application. Your application will only be processed upon successful payment. Please allow 2-3 weeks for us to process your application and we will contact you once your card is ready for your collection at Singapore Cable Car Ticketing Counter, HarbourFront Tower 2.

6. Is the membership available to foreigners?

All guests with local residential address are able to apply for a Faber Licence membership.

7. I have submitted my application. How long does it take for my membership card to be processed?

If you have applied online or mailed in an application form* with clear photograph(s), the card(s) will be ready for your collection at Singapore Cable Car Ticketing Counter (HarbourFront Tower 2) within 2-3 weeks.

If you have submitted the application form, photo and payment receipt at a Membership Counter, your application will be processed on the spot and you may start to enjoy the membership benefits and privileges on the same day.

8. I need the membership card(s) urgently as I intend to visit soon. What can I do?

You may purchase a membership at any Singapore Cable Car Ticketing Counter. Then head over to our membership counters at Mount Faber Cable Car Station or Merlion Cable Car Station Station to have your card(s) printed. Your photo(s) will be taken and membership card will be issued for you to enjoy the benefits and privileges on the same day.

9. What are the operating hours for walk-in applications?

Mount Faber Cable Car Station Membership Counter:

Weekdays     : 10.30 am – 7.00pm

Weekends and Public Holidays     : 9.00am – 7.00pm

Merlion Cable Car Station Membership Counter:

11.00am – 7.00pm daily

10. What must I bring along when I apply at the counter?

If you are applying for Individual Membership, simply bring along your NRIC. You will have your photo taken at our Membership counters.

If you are applying for a Family Membership, we recommend that ALL family members be present in order to have their photos taken. Otherwise, please prepare each of their photographs for us. We would also require their NRIC/Passport number, Name and Date of Birth for all family members.

11. Is submission of a photograph a must?

Yes, as all members will be issued personalized membership cards with a photo.

12. I do not have a photograph of my family member, what can I do?

You may email JPEG files of the photograph(s) at a later date* to faberlicence@onefabergroup.com, with the subject as "Membership Card Application" and the contents of the email indicating the following:

  1. Main Applicant's full name
  2. NRIC
  3. Contact Number
  4. Membership ID (starting with 'I' or 'F')  

Please note the following guidelines for photo submission by email:

  • For Individual Membership, please name the file name as <applicant's name> e.g. "JohnTan.jpg".
  • For Family Membership, please send all photos in an email and name the files accordingly <applicant's name> e.g. "JohnTan.jpg" and followed by "AudreyTan.jpg".

13. If I want to include my domestic helper in the family membership, do I need to submit a photograph too? What if I change my domestic helper?

Yes, domestic helpers are required to submit their photographs and particulars (Name, FIN/Passport Number and Date of Birth).

If you have changed your domestic helper, the membership card has to be replaced. There will be an administrative fee of S$20.00 for each membership card.

A one-to-one exchange of the membership card is required. This can be done at our membership counters (Mount Faber Station and Merlion Cable Car Station).

14. During the term of my family membership, I want to include another member. Any fees involved?

You may email the new member’s details to faberlicence@onefabergroup.com. Please take note that the inclusion of an additional family member can only be done if there are less than 4 people in a family membership. No charges required for such an addition. Expiry date of the additional member will follow that of the main applicant.

15. Can I buy a membership card as a gift for my friend?

You may purchase a Gift Card, which your friend can use to redeem for a complimentary membership within 3 months from the date of purchase. This can be done at our membership counters located at Mount Faber Station and Merlion Cable Car Station.


Card Collection

16. How do I know when my membership card(s) is ready and how do I collect it?

We will send you a collection email stating location and the date from which you may collect your card(s).

Please show the collection email to our staff when you are collecting your membership card(s) from the stated location.

17. I did not receive my membership card(s) for more than one (01) month since I sent/submitted my application, what should I do?

Kindly contact our Guest Relations Officers at 6377 9688 or drop us an email at faberlicence@onefabergroup.com.


During Renewal

18. My membership is going to expire. Am I allowed to renew my membership before it expires?

Yes, you may renew your membership 03 months before it expires. The expiry date of the renewed membership will be one (01) year from the expiry date of your current membership.

19. Do I need to re-submit any information during renewal?

If you wish to change your photograph on the membership card, please provide us with a new photograph. Otherwise, all information recorded in your existing membership will remain unchanged.

20. How do I renew my membership card?

  • Option 1: Renew online here. Do allow 2-3 weeks for us to process your application and we will contact you once your card(s) is ready for collection at Singapore Cable Car Ticketing Counter, HarbourFront Tower 2.

 

  • Option 2: Head down to any Singapore Cable Car Ticketing counters to make payment for a membership renewal. Then head over to our membership counters at Mount Faber Cable Car Station or Merlion Cable Car Station Station to have your card(s) printed.

 

  • Option 3: You may also choose to mail in a completed application form*. A secured payment link will be sent to your email within 3 working days upon receiving your application. Your application will only be processed upon successful payment. Please allow 2-3 weeks for us to process your application and we will contact you once your card is ready for your collection at Singapore Cable Car Ticketing Counter, HarbourFront Tower 2.

Replacement of Card

21. I lost my membership card. How do I replace my card?

A replacement fee of S$20 is applicable for each membership card. Head down to any Singapore Cable Car Ticketing Counters to make payment for a replacement and have your card(s) processed at the Mount Faber Station Membership Counter or Merlion Cable Car Station Membership Counter.

Alternatively, you may contact us via email faberlicence@onefabergroup.com and we will send you a secured payment link for payment. Please allow 3-4 weeks for us to process your replacement.


Daily Usage

22. I forgot to bring my membership card. Can I board the Singapore Cable Car or Sentosa Express for free?

No. We regret that you will only be able to enjoy Faber Licence privileges when you show your membership card.

23. How many vehicles can I register for entry into Sentosa and how can I update my IU if I change my vehicle during my membership term?

You may register a maximum of ONE vehicle for any type of membership. No motorcycles, delivery van or lorries are allowed.

To update your vehicle details, members can send an email to faberlicence@onefabergroup.com with the following information:

  • Name
  • Membership ID
  • Car plate number
  • 10 digit IU number

Alternatively, you may also call us at (+65) 6377 9688 with the information above.

A fee of $10.70 is payable for change of IU registration unless the change is made during renewal. Please note that we only accept vehicle IU number starting with 108, 102 and 112.


Islander to Faber Licence

24. Are we allowed to sign-up for both Islander and Faber Licence membership at the same time?

No. Each unique NRIC/Passport number can only be registered as a member under one type of membership.

25. What is the difference between an Islander and Faber Licence membership?

Faber Licence members enjoy unlimited cable car rides and exclusive discounts and privileges at One Faber Group’s attractions, restaurants, gift shops and events. Faber Licence members also enjoy selected Islander benefits. Click here for the full list of membership privileges.

Both the Islander and Faber Licence membership program offer their own seasonal promotions and privileges. Faber Licence members may not be entitled to enjoy seasonal Islander promotions and benefits.

26. I am an Islander member. How do I convert to a Faber Licence membership.

You may top up the following amounts to convert your membership from Islander to Faber Licence:

  • Individual : $14
  • Family membership : $85

1. Validity of your Faber Licence membership will follow that of your Islander expiry date.

2. A valid Islander membership card must be shown in order to enjoy the top-up options.

3. Islander membership card will be collected before we issue you your new Faber Licence membership.

27. I have an Islander individual membership; can I convert to Faber Licence Family membership by topping up the difference?

No. Top-up options are only available for Islander individual to convert to Faber Licence individual and Islander family to Faber Licence family.

28. I have an Islander family membership of 5 persons and I wish to convert to a Faber Licence family membership. However, Faber Licence family membership only allows up to 4 persons. How do I convert using the top-up option?

The fifth family member will top-up as an Individual Faber Licence member.

Total top-up rates for a family of five:

  • Family membership top-up = $85
  • Individual membership top-up = $14
  • Total for Family + Individual membership = $99

29. I am an existing Islander member but my membership will expire soon. I wish to sign up for Faber Licence instead, do I get a discount?

Existing Islander members will be able to sign up for Faber Licence at our renewal rates (Individual $35, Family $110) as long as the application is done within three months of the membership expiry.
